We are seeking a Real Sales Person with at least 3-5 years B2B experience with an intangible deliverable. The right candidate will have a radio advertising sales background and knows how to engage advertisers. They will display the behaviors necessary for real success and reward, ideally an individual with a business owner mentality. The right candidate is comfortable using Excel, Word, PowerPoint and can create efficient documents. We are looking for a sales person committed to a consultative approach who is well organized, setting their own goals and tracking their own performance, someone who knows who to approach prospecting and what questions to ask, they stay with the client until the deliverable is complete. We want an achiever that is willing to go above and beyond the norms to achieve success in a sales role.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 yrs in previous B2B sales role with a current book of business in radio sales that can be leveraged.
Possess the ability to ramp up quickly and hit the ground running in driving new business.
A team oriented individual who can stand on his/her own and excel as an individual contributor. One who takes ownership but who can also delegate effectively when necessary.
Background/experience in advertising radio sales on a regional or national level
Basic PC Skills, comfortable using Microsoft Office tools.
Member of associations (local/national) preferably in a leadership capacity.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
