POSITION
Summary:
Manages the sales process of products and services for the Americas Region. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenue through planning, deployment and leading of sales personnel. Identifies and implements objectives, strategies and action plans to improve short and long term sales and earnings
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
LEADER
Motivate sales team through creating a customer focused environment through the incentivization of desired behaviors and the mitigation of obstacle for the Sales Account Managers to succeed in achieving their objectives
Set Sales Account Manager specific customer based performance targets and goals (Global Sales Incentive Plan & Personal Objectives)
Coach and supervise sales team to perform routine sales functions such as site visits, preparation and timely submission of technical and commercial proposals, phone and on-site technical service when requested, practicing a systematic selling process including call reports, sales call planning, and proactive use of sales tools
Strategic account planning including: prospecting, actively cross selling, order fulfillment, consulting with multiple resources and departments, understanding the customers business and continually positioning our products to meet needs
Maintains high productivity sales team through continuity planning, recruiting, selection, orienting, training and forced attrition.
Monitoring sales team performance and behavior through counseling, disciplining, appraisals, coaching and frequent (minimum-once a month) performance dialogs
Identify talent and develop sales team for future roles within
ENTRPRENUER
Track trends of the market; gather intelligence concerning customers, competitors, and market trends
Report on competitive activity, frequently update installed volume database and monitor forecasts of short term and long term business potentials
Establishes sales objectives through forecasting (Forecast System), and develop annual sales quotas for region and territories product mix, and selling entity
Maintains sales volume, product mix and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators and competitors
Establishes and adjusts selling prices and minimum margin requirements (Minimum Margin Tool) by monitoring costs, supply and demand, and competition
Deploy sales resources within the region in most strategic, efficient and effective manner
BUSINESS PARTNER
Develop strong relationships at higher levels within the customers organization (key engineers, research and technology experts, purchasing managers, business managers, and senior management)
Create vertical relationship channels within customers
Develops industry contacts through establishing personal networks and participating in professional societies
Maintains technical knowledge though professional publications, customer interaction and educational workshops
AMBASSADOR
Manage the sales administration function, operational performance reporting, streamlining processes and systems
Advising senior management on maximizing business relationships and on creating and environment where customer focus can flourish
Role model the values and align team business behaviors to the values
Advocate and promote the teams interests and requirements within the local and global organization (local and global meetings, S&OPs etc)
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry, although degrees in related fields with appropriate experience will also be considered or combination of 5 years industry and professional sales management experience
Candidates who have process industry, plant operating experience, process engineering, and/or technical service experience
Must have strong people coaching and development skills
Must also have very strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills
Must be well organized and have excellent overall computer skills (SAP knowledge is preferred but not required, MS Office is required.)
Must have excellent relationship building skills and enjoy service oriented type of work.
Ability to make judgments on forecast, gather information from customer.
Ability to quickly make independent decisions.
Negotiation skills to meet or exceed the desired margins and objectives of the Industry Group.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
