The Material Planning Director will be responsible for developing and implementing effective inventory management strategies that ensure timely delivery of materials to our distribution and production facilities.
This position will require the ability to think strategically, work collaboratively across departments, and effectively manage a team of material planners.

In this leadership role, you are responsible for guiding the Material Planning team towards achieving our mission while maintaining a positive environment and exemplifying our values.
Essential Functions Develop and implement material planning strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials to our distribution and production operations Manage inventory levels to optimize production schedules and minimize waste Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials Establish a highly effective and best in class team; coach, develop and build the next level leaders Lead a team of material planners and provide guidance and support to ensure effective execution of responsibilities Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize the material planning process Collaborate with other departments, such as production, purchasing, and logistics, to ensure alignment of material planning strategies with overall business goals Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to material planning, including inventory levels, delivery performance, and cost savings Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or MS Supply Chain highly desired 8
years of experience in material planning, inventory management, or related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team Excellent communication and collaboration skills Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint Experience with ERP systems and demand planning software preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
