25/hour Here's a Glimpse at What you'll Do:
As a Quality Technician at Lantech, you will:
Support production process by evaluating parts, tooling and equipment, ensuring correctness and functionality per Lantech requirements.
Evaluate production parts using a wide range of precision instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
).
Perform evaluation on mfg.
torque tools to ensure proper torque and perform calibration if necessary.
Perform final audits on semi and automatic equipment, process supplier returns within Winman and verify all inventory is evaluated and reworked to current drawing specifics.
Interact with manufacturing, procurement, engineering, and vendors to determine the point of cause.
Perform problem solving exercises, assist in the implementation of process improvement, and work with suppliers to ensure part quality and function.
Perform welding inspections to capture and provide feedback to engineering and procurement on trends related to design and vendor quality.
Serve as a back-up for the Quality Auditor when needed.
What are we Looking For? (Requirements) We are look for someone who:
Candidate must be detailed oriented with a proven commitment and passion for quality Must possess strong analytical skills Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings Must have strong written and verbal communication skills Must be able to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Must have precision measuring experience (micrometers, calipers, and gages minimum) Proficiency in Winman ERP program Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Is authorized to work in the U.

Desired Skills In-depth Root Cause/Point of Cause problem solving experience Experience entering Supplier returns Auditing and/or Inspecting experience Weld inspection (defects and discontinuities) Education & Experience High School diploma or equivalent.
Additional training from technical school or college is a plus.
