Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Systems Manager that will be based in Louisville, KY and responsible for 3 plant locations.
This position will lead the company's quality systems (ISO 9001-14001 and IMS 45001 and work cross functionally with plant quality and environmental health & safety to push forward a culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement.
This is a very strategic role that will report directly to the VP of Operations and has growth opportunity.
Successful candidate will have auditing, quality systems management, KPI creation and experience leading a plant towards quality culture.

Salary:
$135-$160k plus bonus and benefits for the right candidate.
Work Hours:
40 hours per week and candidate can work a hybrid schedule but needs to be in the plant the majority of the week.
Highlighted Responsibilities Provide strategic direction and leadership for Quality Systems working cross functionally to ensure culture moves toward culture of quality, safety and continuous improvement Develop and maintain quality systems compliant with ISO 14001, 9001 and IMS 45001.
Train, mentor and develop Quality Assurance staff.
Lead internal, external, and regulatory audits and inspections.
Develop and execute quality strategies for chemical processes and products that drive towards continuous improvement methodology.
Ensure appropriate quality controls are implemented and maintained throughout the production process.
Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure quality objectives, training and continuous improvement goals are met.
Report on quality metrics and present data-driven insights to senior management.
Develop and manage departmental budget.
Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics and implement necessary improvements.
Maintain a thorough understanding of new trends, developments, and changes in regulations applicable to the chemical industry.
Highlighted Requirements A Bachelor's degree in chemistry, engineering, manufacturing or related field (Master's degree preferred).
Must have Lead Auditor certification 10
years of experience in Quality Management Proven ability to move culture towards quality, safety and continuous improvement focus Must have experience in chemical manufacturing Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and/or IMS 45001 Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other Continuous Improvement methods Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of testing methods and safety regulations in a chemical manufacturing environment.
Proficient with statistical analysis software and quality management systems.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
