Network Engineer
An employer is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a direct hire opportunity based out of Louisville KY.
This engineer will be responsible for analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the company's network infrastructure.
This individual will be serving as a Senior Network Engineer over 2 other team members and will run point on the company's migration project from Cisco to Cisco Meraki products and hardware.
On average the team currently takes 8 tickets per week so the majority of the workload is project based (Deploying, Maintaining, Upgrading).
They will frequently work with Managed Service Providers and vendors to help maintain, design, and implement new network practices.
This team operates off of a on call rotation, where they are on call once a month.
There are 20 different locations to which this Network engineer will have to travel to across the United States (10%).
- CCNA or Net
or Meraki Certifications - Experience in a cloud environment (Azure)- Documentation skills
Strong attention to detail- Experience migrating form a private cloud to a public cloud.

years of experience as a Network Engineer- 4 years of experience troubleshooting, configuring and setting up wireless APIS- Cisco Meraki knowledge- Work with configurations, routers, switches, firewalls Recommended Skills Api Attention To Detail Cisco Cisco Certified Network Associate Electrical Switchgear Firewalls (Computer Science) Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
