This position requires a wide range of account management skills, including but not limited to; customer service, administration and sales.
The position also requires experience managing both small and large commercial accounts and a strong understanding of the underwriting process including new and renewal business.
Client Service - Commercial & Personal Correspondence with clients; email, fax and mail Check policies for accuracy when received in the office Provide Certificates of Insurance, Evidence of Property Certificates, Auto ID cards Assist Clients with Billing Questions Request Policy Endorsements from company.
Follow up to see that the endorsement has been completed Prepare policies to be delivered or mailed Assist clients with claims processing Business Development - Commercial & Personal Assist agents with quoting new business and renewals Provide agents with proposals for new business and renewal Look for cross sell and upsell opportunities with existing clients Explore opportunities for new business as time permits Information Systems & Client Data Maintain Data Base information Check and update policies/changes for accuracy Attach downloaded policies to client files Create policies that are not downloaded in client files Assemble reports such as renewals, certificate holder lists, mailing lists Enter policy information in AMS Create and maintain paper files
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business or real estate required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Property/Casualty management licenses Minimum of 3 years' experience in commercia/casualty management required.
Previous experience with project management preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and vendors.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
