Job Description Crown Health is proud to accept applications for a Compound Pharmacy Tech in Louisville, KY.
This full time, direct hire opportunity is day shift, pays between $16-$18 an hour pending experience, and is available immediately.
Job Details Louisville, KY 40207 Monday thru Friday- 35
hours weekly $16-$18 an hour pending experience Job Requirements As a Compound Pharmacy Tech, you can expect to:
Follow all company policies and procedures.
Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions.
Update job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
Enhance organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
Demonstrates ability to perform nonsterile compounding per strict USP 795/800 guidelines.
Demonstrates proficiency with following directions.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt with change of workflow.
Properly use, calibrate and maintains equipment needed in making of compounds.
Sampling batches for quality testing.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor Training of other staff.
Ensure all compounds are prepared in accordance to the master formulas and in accordance with USP , USP , and USP.
Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:
1 year of experience as a certified Pharmacy Technician Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
1 year of sterile compounding lab or non-sterile compounding lab experience a plus Experience with Compounder/PK Software a plus.
Experience with compounding creams, capsules, and troches a plus.
Able to read, write, and speak English properly, other languages a plus.
Ability to perform simple pharmaceutical calculations for individualized prescriptions.
