8K a year Shrout Tate Wilson Engineers is seeking a Construction Administrator with hands-on field experience in design, operation and construction of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and DDC control systems.
This position will support our Lexington and Louisville Offices.
Candidates must possess a functional working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and building automation systems, as well as systems design & construction processes.
Prior experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC system integration, TAB disciplines a plus.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks, be highly organized, have excellent writing skills, demonstrate proficient computer skills, and have a professional and team-oriented demeanor.
Candidates must also demonstrate the ability to work directly with Architects/Owners/Construction Manager Representatives in a hands-on training role for the functional understanding of systems.
The responsibilities of a successful candidate should include:
Preparing QA reports, documenting QA inspections, and QC tests observed Ensuring punch lists are maintained and items are closed out in timely manner Coordinating Testing and Inspection Agency activities Interpret plans and specifications Interpret and respond to Requests for Information Review and respond to technical submittals Assist in the issuance of agenda and bulletins Review and comment on contractor QA reports Review contractor payment requests and contractor proposal Qualified candidates shall forward resume to email protected Job Type:
