Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to patients, under the guidance of RNs or physicians, encompassing tasks like medication administration, wound care, and vital signs monitoringPerform comprehensive patient assessments, involving physical exams, medical histories, and medication reviews, to craft personalized care plansAdminister prescribed medications and treatments meticulously, guaranteeing accurate dosing and adherence to established protocolsEvaluate, clean, dress, and manage wounds, incisions, and injuries while actively monitoring for infection or complicationsContinuously monitor and meticulously document patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration ratesMaintain detailed and precise patient records, recording changes in their condition, administered treatments, and medication managementEducate patients and their families on their medical conditions, prescribed medications, and self-care practices, with a focus on overall well-beingAdminister and closely monitor intravenous (IV) medications and fluids, ensuring proper insertion and functioning of IV linesProvide care for patients with urinary catheters, including insertion, routine maintenance, and diligent monitoring for complicationsCollect patient samples, such as blood, urine, and sputum, for subsequent laboratory testing and analysisCollaborate closely with the healthcare team, including RNs, physicians, therapists, and support staff, to ensure seamless patient careAddress patient comfort and safety requirements, including positioning, mobility assistance, and pain managementRespond swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies, adhering to established protocols and delivering basic life support as necessaryAdhere rigorously to infection control procedures, encompassing proper hand hygiene and utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent infections from spreadingSafely handle, store, and dispose of medications and medical supplies, in strict accordance with regulations and guidelinesFoster health and wellness by promoting preventive care measures like vaccinations and screenings, and aiding with health assessmentsAdvocate for patients' rights and needs within the healthcare system, ensuring they receive the appropriate care and supportStay current on nursing best practices, regulations, and advancements through ongoing education and trainingIn certain cases, LPNs may supervise certified nursing assistants (CNAs) or unlicensed assistive personnel (UAPs) to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient careOther duties assigned by Management Recommended Skills Licensed Vocational Nurses Registered Nurse Licensed Practical Nurse Health Facilities Nursing Acute Care Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
