We are seeking an experienced Payroll Analyst to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing industry. This is a contract position that offers a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in our payroll department. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing, auditing, benefits, and compensation management. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent data analysis skills and a deep understanding of HRIS, multi-state payroll, ADP, timekeeping systems, garnishments, payroll deductions, and payroll tax.
Responsibilities:
As a Payroll Analyst, you will be responsible for:
Managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time. Auditing payroll data to detect any discrepancies and rectifying them promptly. Administering employee benefits and compensation, ensuring they align with company policies and legal requirements. Conducting detailed data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for payroll optimization. Utilizing HRIS to manage and maintain employee data. Processing multi-state payroll, understanding the unique requirements and regulations of each state. Using ADP and other timekeeping systems to track employee hours and attendance. Handling garnishments, payroll deductions, and payroll tax, ensuring compliance with legal requirements. Collaborating with HR and finance departments to streamline payroll processes and resolve any issues. Staying updated with the latest payroll trends, tax changes, and legal regulations to ensure the company is always compliant.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Payroll Analyst position should possess:
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the manufacturing industry. Proficiency in payroll, auditing, benefits, and compensation management. Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and present data in a clear and concise manner. Experience with HRIS, multi-state payroll, ADP, timekeeping systems, garnishments, payroll deductions, and payroll tax. Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve payroll issues promptly. Knowledge of the latest payroll trends, tax changes, and legal regulations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with different departments. A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
