Nuclear Medicine Technologist
The Nuclear Med Technologist utilizes imaging, computer, and other equipment as appropriate to produce and retain high quality diagnostic images which meet or exceed department, organizational and industry standards. Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the human anatomy, physiology, as well as image quality. Applying professional knowledge, prepares patients for the procedure educates and responds to questions or concerns. Ensures age-appropriate approach to communication, safety needs, patient education and principles of physical/functional growth and development. Demonstrates an understanding of patient positioning, imaging technique, radiation safety, imaging equipment, infection control, and quality control techniques. Oversees and handles cardiac stress tests, transporting patients to stress rooms, nuclear tests, and filling out surveys.

Requires Flu-shot (excused for medical purposes)
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
