Assignment Capsule
Humana s Process Transformation Office will partner with business sponsors to lead cross-functional initiatives, build organizational capabilities, and accelerate impact across the enterprise. Working to develop and maintain end-to-end process views for key cross functional/organizational processes as well as enhance and build appropriate metrics tracking, this team will deliver best practice frameworks and tools to solve the company s most pressing issues and challenges. The practice, which reports directly to the Enterprise Vice President of Process Transformation Office, is a team that works to improve enterprise processes to improve Humana s ability to deliver tangible business results.
As a Transformation Process Engineer, you will work with the business sponsors and work on the process improvement projects and results. In addition, you will also work with cross functional teams to further the development of company-wide strategic processes.
Key responsibilities include:
Participate in process transformation initiatives
Work as part of a small project team to deliver results within a set timetable
Building solutions for business leaders
Capturing processes metrics and monitoring process maturity
Analyze data to establish baseline for transformation
Identifying gaps and developing improvements
Ensuring initiatives deliver intended results
The successful candidate will be a dynamic consultant who has worked on process improvement teams at a top tier consulting firm or in a large corporation. He/she will have a demonstrated ability to influence peers and business leaders. This person must be comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work collaboratively with key leaders to shape the priorities and manage engagements to completion.
He/she also will be effective at multi-tasking and possess keen change management skills. Additional skills and competencies include:

Bachelor's degree
Six Sigma / Lean Experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Visio (or other process mapping software), and statistical software packages
Business value orientation

Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and oral communication and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to interact with senior leadership
Role Desirables
Master s Degree
Six Sigma / Lean Certification
Prior group implementation and/or project management experience
PMI / PMP certification highly desired
Possess the ability to create and run database queries.
