Production Painter

Production Cabinet Painter - Job Description $20 an HR
As a Production Cabinet Painter, you will play a key role in preparing, finishing, and assembling cabinet components within a fastpaced manufacturing environment. This position supports production flow by assisting fabricators, operating equipment, and ensuring highquality painted finishes on all cabinet parts.
Responsibilities

• Support production teams, including fabricators and assemblers, to maintain smooth workflow.
• Prepare cabinet parts for finishing through sanding, cleaning, and surface prep.
• Apply paint and powder coating to cabinet components using spray systems and proper finishing techniques.
• Operate forklifts to move materials, finished parts, and paint racks throughout the facility.
• Load and unload trucks with raw materials and completed products.
• Assemble drawers, doors, and cabinet components as needed to support production.
• Perform general machine operation and production tasks to meet daily output goals.

Essential Skills

• Experience in production, finishing, or general labor environments.
• Proficiency with spray painting, powder coating, or industrial finishing processes.
• Ability to assemble cabinet components and use hand/power tools.
• Understanding of basic machine operation and production flow.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience unloading and loading trucks.
• Familiarity with paint mixing, spray gun operation, and finish quality checks.
• Forklift experience for material movement and staging.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure consistent finish quality.

Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Louisville, KY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.00/hr.
