Heavy Civil / Highway Construction Field Operations Manager Hall Contacting of Kentucky is seeking a Construction Field Operations Manager for their Heavy Civil/Highway Division.
Summary Provide overall field operations management for Hall's Highway Division projects.

Essential Functions:
Review project plans and/or proposal and develop a plan for completing the project on time and within budget.
Staff projects with necessary field personnel.
Manage all project personnel, activities, equipment and subcontractors.
Direct Superintendents Provide a safe work site for each project.
Update weekly/monthly project schedules.
Provide hands on assistance with field work/activities at times.
Primary liaison between Hall Contracting and the project owner's representatives.
Coordinate and attend meetings with the project owner's representatives.
Abide by Company Safety Program and Polices in performing duties safely.
Communicate, update and report to the Highway Division Manager.
Competencies Communications - ability to communicate with all levels of company, project and field personnel.
Leadership - ability to motivate project personnel, set achievable objectives, maintain a positive outlook, take responsibility, make decisions, and provide constructive feedback.
Environmental, Health and Safety Management:
Understand and know how to comply with all regulations; implement a positive attitude toward health and safety in the design and execution of the project; ensure safe deliverables and incorporate sustainable development.
Experience/Qualifications 10 years of heavy/highway construction experience Bridge construction/repair work experience required Roadway and concrete paving experience preferred Education Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
This position is performed in outside weather conditions Physical Demands Must be able to sit for extended periods at a time, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch daily.
The employee must be able to walk and/or stand on their feet throughout the entire day.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time salaried position.
Hours of work vary based on project needs.
Annual Bonus and Company Vehicle.
