Kern's Kitchen is a specialty pie manufacturing facility known best for Derby-Pie chocolate nut pie.
Kern's Kitchen, located in Jeffersontown, KY, carries on a 60
year tradition and prides itself on continuing to be a specialized family-owned business.

We are hiring to fill a permanent production assistant position.
Production assistants help in the manufacturing process of making and portioning pie dough, pressing pie shells, depositing, loading/unloading ovens, packing and cleanup.
Seasonal bonuses based on profitability and performance.
Benefits are as follows:
- Health insurance enrollment option after 90 days - 1 week paid vacation after 6 months - 401k profit sharing plan - Some paid holidays after 1 year/additional paid holidays after 2 years Minimum Requirements/Essential functions include:
Available for shift hours:
Monday - Friday, 7 am - close (close can vary but typically 3:
00pm - 4:
00pm) Able to lift 50 lbs Able to stand, bend, move, use hands/arms and lift throughout shift Have reliable means to and from work Be at least 18 years of age Be able to follow standard food production guidelines (maintain personal hygiene, remove all visible jewelry, etc.
) Be able to pass background check Have basic writing and math skills Desired:
