Summary:
Performs variety of activities related to the operation of equipment used to create products in a manufacturing setting.
This includes responsibilities for machine operation, material movement via forklifts, production record-keeping, production of quality products, cleaning activities.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
1.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
2.
Must be able to follow written and verbal procedures and instructions.
3.
Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment involving high speed machines.
4.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Physical Ability Range of motion and flexibility - ability to reach and perform work above shoulder height (frequently), perform full arm extensions (frequently), bending forward from the waist (occasionally), turn head/neck to side (frequently) Standing for long periods of time, walking short distances frequently, wearing steel-toe safety shoes for full shift Manual dexterity/motor skills - operate button controls on control panels, and overhead hoist pendants, precise placement of tape and small labels, operate pallet jack, use cutting instruments, perform manual dexterity tasks while wearing gloves Lifting - ability to lift weights up to 40 lbs.
