Summary:
Enerpan Building Systems, a leading manufacturer of modular metal enclosures, is seeking a skilled and dedicated Production Technician to join our production team.
The Production Technician will play a crucial role in the manufacturing process, ensuring the accurate assembly and fabrication of our high-quality enclosures.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong proficiency in using basic hand tools, have the ability to understand and follow directions, interpret and follow basic drawings and schematics, and exhibit problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Additionally, the candidate must thrive in a small team environment, working collaboratively to achieve production goals.
Responsibilities:
Perform assembly and integration of components according to specifications and work instructions.
Utilize basic hand tools, such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers, to perform assembly tasks.
Read and interpret basic drawings, diagrams, and schematics to understand product requirements.
Follow established procedures and guidelines to ensure quality standards are met.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues that may arise during the assembly process.
Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements.
Maintain accurate records of production activities, including test results and component inventory.
Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and tools as required.
Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in training programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a production or assembly role is preferred.
Proficiency in using basic hand tools.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
Stamina to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small components.
