Responsibilities:
Patrol the property to detect and prevent loss or damage.
Observe and report suspicious persons, vehicles, or packages.
Enforce laws and regulations to ensure the safety of people and property.
Perform security checks at entrances of buildings.
Preserve the peace; enforce club rules; eject disorderly persons; disperse demonstrators.
Report incidents of crime or disorder to local police authorities.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
