Position Overview:
As a Payroll and Benefits Analyst, you will play a vital role in overseeing the end-to-end payroll and benefits administration processes.
This includes managing payroll data, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, handling employee inquiries, and optimizing payroll and benefits systems.
The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, a strong understanding of payroll and benefits practices, and expertise in using Ceridian Dayforce.
Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in a similar role.
Professional Certification:
Professional certification in payroll (e.
g.
, CPP) is preferred.
Ceridian Dayforce Expertise:
Strong proficiency in using Ceridian Dayforce payroll system, including system configuration, reporting, and troubleshooting.
Payroll and Benefits Knowledge:
Thorough understanding of payroll and benefits administration processes, including tax regulations, deductions, and compliance requirements.
Attention to Detail:
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail in data entry, calculations, and record-keeping.
Analytical Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, analyze data, and propose solutions.

Responsibilities:
Payroll Processing:
Oversee accurate and timely processing of payroll cycles, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws and regulations.
Payroll Administration:
Maintain payroll records, including employee data, tax withholding, and deductions.
Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy.
Benefits Administration:
Assist in administering employee benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
Coordinate with vendors and handle employee inquiries related to benefits.
Compliance and Reporting:
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll and tax regulations.
Prepare and submit required payroll-related reports and filings.
System Management:
Serve as the main point of contact for Ceridian Dayforce payroll system functions.
Work with the HRIT Manager to maintain system configurations, troubleshoot issues, and implement system upgrades.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance payroll and benefits processes.
Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy.
Employee Support:
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related matters.
Provide timely and accurate information while delivering excellent customer service.
Documentation and Training:
Create and update payroll and benefits policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Conduct training sessions for employees and managers on payroll and benefits processes and best practices.
Audit and Compliance:
Participate in internal and external audits related to payroll and benefits.
Ensure all records and documentation are in accordance with audit requirements.
