Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Meet the physical and sensory requirements stated below and be able to work in the described environment Identify and participate in process improvementinitiatives that improve the customer experience, enhance work flow, and/or improve the workenvironment Accurately and safely prepare, administer, and document the oral and/or topical medications that are commonly used in this facility and thatmay be ordered for resident use Ensure that no medication is administered without a written, signed and dated order from an attending licensed physician Verify the identity of the resident before administering the medication/treatment Verify that prescribed medication for one resident is not administered to another Observe and verify that medication is ingested or applied, as directed Document any instance where prescribed medication is not administered, including reason(s) for refusal Assist with medication charting as directed by the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse, as directed Verify that adequate supply of floor stock medications, supplies, and equipment is on hand to meet the nursing needs of the residents.
Report needs to the NurseSupervisor/Charge Nurse Order prescribed medications, supplies, and equipment as necessary, and in accordance with established procedures Verify that narcotic records are accurate for your shift Follow facility policies and procedures regarding the destruction of medications Notify the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse of all drug and narcotic discrepancies noted on your shift Review medication cards for completeness of information, accuracy in the transcription of the physician's order and adherence to stop order policies Notify the Charge Nurse/Nursing Supervisor of automatic stop orders prior to the last dosage being administered Immediately notify the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse of any medication administration errors Assist in providing CNA/GNA duties, as needed Other special projects and duties, as assigned Job Requirements:
Current Medication Aide Certification and Current Nursing Assistant Certification from state Must have a current/active CPR certification Effective verbal and written English communication skills Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook, Internet and Intranet navigation Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives Customer service oriented with the ability to work well under pressure Strong attention to detail and accuracy,excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize, coordinate andsimultaneously maintain multiple projects with high level of quality andproductivity Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions Ability to deal with new tasks without the benefit of written procedures Approachable, flexible and adaptable to change Function independently, and have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively withstakeholders and vendors Signature HealthCARE is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran and other protected categories.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
