0% - 25% About Our Opportunity Our Technical Recruiter plays a pivotal role to help scale our technology, product, and project roles as well as coordinate Early Talent and Intern programs within the technology space.
This role oversees and administers the recruitment process from sourcing through onboarding and plays an important role in the talent management strategy of the association's unique and diverse talent pool.
How You Will Spend Your Time Lead and drive a full-cycle recruitment process, ensuring the highest quality candidate experience that reflects Farm Credit Mid-America's purpose, values, and culture.
Proactively and creatively identify, attract, and source exceptional candidates via innovative sourcing strategies and programmatic initiatives in accordance with the association's initiatives and hiring practices.
Establish and maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders and candidates.
Collect, utilize, and analyze data to provide ongoing updates and recommendations to stakeholders on process effectiveness, market trends, and other items as needed.
Guide and coach candidates and interviewers throughout the hiring process, providing timely updates, feedback, and any other relevant information.
Collaborates with HR team members and hiring leaders to understand the needs of the roles to be filled.
Reviews applications and conducts the initial screening to identify the most qualified candidates, ensuring they meet the minimum qualifications defined in the job description and expectations of salary requirements fall within the established range.
Represent FCMA events such as career fairs, trade shows, college events, and more to establish/enhance our employer brand in the technology and fintech sectors.
This may include travel and overnight stays.
Facilitate the Early Talent student programs within the Business Technology function.
Coordinate the summer Intern programs as it pertains to technology, technology -adjacent, and connected areas and projects.
Act as point of contact and maintain positive working relationships with third party vendors and external recruiting firms.
Maintains the Position Description Library for all roles within Business Technology, Finance, and Operations.
Minimum Education & Experience Bachelor's Degree and minimum of five years of relevant work experience recruiting in the technology space.
Demonstrated ability/experience identifying/understanding technology needs and various technology roles.
Working with HRIS applicant tracking and other related HR or related technology, required.
Mental & Physical Requirements Successfully represent the association and interact via telephone and face-to-face conversation with team members, leaders, board members, customers, vendors, and/or the public at all levels.
Use a computer and similar office technology and tools.
This involves reading the screen and keying/typing information.
Speak, provide sound technical advice and make presentations to individuals or groups on subjects related to areas of responsibility.
Travel via auto or commercial transportation to carry out essential responsibilities of the job.
Understand and explain various subject matter and consulting concepts, programs, terminology, and methods.
Reason, judge, compare, calculate, evaluate, decide, and critique such information as written material, numerical data, responses to customer needs, and/or other related work activities.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
