Essential Functions:
Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business systems and user needsDocuments workflow and business processesPlans, develops and executes functional, system regression, integration, and performance testingPerforms variance analysis and reportingAdvises customers on ERP best practices, customizations, and integrationContacts and works with vendors to resolve software issues with delivered functionalityPerforms data analysis using a variety of toolsResearches vendor products to stay current on new and existing functionalityConsiders future product capabilities in current designsManages major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with new releases and communicating appropriately Examples of Duties UNDER GENERAL DIRECTIONDetermines operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; and evaluating output requirements and formatsDefines business requirements and reporting them back to stakeholdersCreates a detailed business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions to problemsCollects and analyzes data for potential business impactInterprets, evaluates and interrelates research data and develop integrated business analyses and projections for incorporation into strategic decision-makingDevelops and obtains approval of ERP delivery designs, business applications and automation prototypes from business ownerIdentifies ERP functionality and integrated technology opportunities and solutions for resolving complex business problemsConducts and coordinates financial, operational, and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programsConducts insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issuesCreates ERP systems documentation including business process flows (BPF), test scripts, and user acceptance testing (UAT) scenariosCoordinates user acceptance testingSupports regression testing and introduction of required changes as new releases are introduced manually and/or by using automated testing solutionPerforms daily, weekly and monthly reviews and analyses of current processes using operational metrics and reportsCreates informative, actionable and repeatable reporting that highlights relevant business trends and opportunities for improvementUnderstands and communicates the financial and operational impact of any suggested changesSuggests changes to senior management using analytics to support recommendationsActively participates in the implementation of approved changesConstructs workflow charts and diagrams, studying system capabilities and writing specificationsTranslates business needs of end users to technical teams for system development and configurationImproves systems by studying current practices and recommending modificationsRecommends controls by identifying problems and writing improved proceduresResearches best practices for business processesNegotiates changing of current practices with end users to align the business needs with best practicesManages ticketing queue to ensure tickets are addressed in a timely manner with excellent customer service attitudePerforms related work Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degreeBusiness AdministrationComputer ScienceEngineering TechnologyEQUIVALENCYAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be substitutedOTHER MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSMust be on 24 hour callMust provide one's own source of transportationMust work a varied scheduleSPECIAL REQUIREMENTSFour years of systems analysis, programmer analysis or applications developmentPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONSMeets regular and punctual attendance standards and any special needs of the position as determined by management, including mandatory overtime and performing related work Supplemental Information EOEDesirables:
