Our Behavioral Support Specialists and BCBA's are a vital part of a client's success and may work with clients who receive KY Medicaid Waiver, private funding or insurance funding.

Job Requirements:
1.
Has a master's degree in behavioral science and 1 year of experience in behavioral programming 2.
If BCBA, be in good standing and participates in/maintains appropriate certification/licensure/agency requirements related to continuing education 3.
Has at least 1 year of experience working with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities 4.
A reliable form of transportation.
5.
A class D (regular) driver's license.
6.
A professional resume.
7.
Be willing to travel.
8.
Background checks and drug screening.
9.
Can adequately communicate with participants and staff.
10.
Has a valid social security number or valid work permit if not a U.
S.
citizen.

Responsibilities:
? Experience with creating written reports, assessments or other relevant documentation experience.
Specifically functional assessments and behavioral treatment plans ? Develops functional assessments using evidence based tools, direct observation, and empirical measurement to obtain and identify functional relations between behavior and environmental factors ? Develops behavioral treatment plans based on the information, data collected and recommendations of the functional assessment ? Provide person centered support on a one-on-one basis with participants across environments.
? Provides utilization of evidenced based and best practices in behavioral techniques, interventions, and methods to assist a participant with significant, intensive challenges that interfere with activities of daily living, social interaction, or work ? Provide consultative and direct support and assistance related to chosen outcomes by participants to facilitate independence and promote integration into the community for a participant residing in his or her own home or in his or her family's home.
? Coordinate care as needed with other team members (families, case managers, paraprofessionals, etc) ? Provide ongoing training and technical support to team members to carry out recommendations outlined in the behavioral treatment plan Job Type:
