We are looking for a trustworthy, devoted, and competent maintenance assistant to join our extraordinary family of caregivers.

Compliance with federal, state, and local laws regarding maintenance of the facility and grounds is essential.
In this highly visible role, you will report directly to the Director of Maintenance.
Assists with the maintenance of the building, grounds, security and mechanical assets of the Community.
Performs daily walkthrough of the facility, addressing any malfunctions for prompt repair.
Conducts inspections on resident rooms prior to occupancy.
May receive after hours calls for maintenance emergencies.
Ensures transportation vehicles are maintained in good working condition.
Have vehicles regularly inspected to ensure safety and cleanliness.
Troubleshoot numerous pieces of equipment as needed.
Assists with maintaining important records, data, and paperwork.
Provide amazing resident service daily.
Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local laws, specifically Fire Marshall inspections.
Perform other duties as assigned by the facility Maintenance Director.
Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
1 -2 years maintenance experience preferred.
Nursing home environment a plus.
Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing and related repair.
Ability to transport up to 60 pounds variable distances, the mobility and flexibility to use required equipment and to access and work in confined spaces or at heights in excess of 8-9 feet.
Demonstrated ability to use independent judgment and discretion to make decisions designed to achieve company expectations and goals for the community.
Ability to handle multiple priorities.
Must possess valid driver's license.
