Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time, hourly position.
Duties- Handle the use of tools-Work/Maintenance on grade equipment-Work/Maintenance on Asphalt and Paving Equipment-Keep shop and work area organized-Must be able to operate up to a 75 ton rough terrain hydraulic crane-Must have own mechanic tools-At least 10 years or more experience in a Equipment Maintenance environment-CCO Crane Certification required-CDL Commercial Drivers License preferred, but not requiredWork EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration.
The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites.
The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.
This position is performed in outside weather conditions.
Physical DemandsMust be able to sit for extended periods at a time, climb or balance, stoop, kneel or crouch daily.
The employee must be able to walk and/or stand on their feet throughout the entire day.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment.
