Summary:
Perform general form carpentry for bridge and roadway construction.
Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Build concrete forms and temporary structures according to sketches, plans or oral instructions.
Prepare layout for bridge, roadway, drainage and temporary structures Measure, mark, cut, fasten and assemble forms from dimensional lumber and other materials Shape material to plan measurements Verify trueness of structures Erect framework for structures Erect scaffolding and ladders for access to structures above ground level.
Other job functions:
plan reading, welding and torch cutting, assist other trades as directed by the job superintendent.
Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed.
Brings problems to the attention of the foreman.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow HALL Contracting of Kentucky's safety, and quality procedures.
Comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements Must be physically healthy to stand, bend, and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
Required Education and ExperienceApplicants must have at least 1 year experience as concrete form carpenter.
Previous concrete/highway experience a plus.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Applicants must hold a Regular Operator (Class D) driver's license.
Applicant must have no felonies that are violent in nature and/or theft related in the last 7 years.
Applicant must have reliable transportation to and from job site.
High School Diploma or GED preferredJob Details Wage:
