Job Description Crown Health is proud to accept applications for Part Time Dental Assistant for a Dental practice in the Louisville, KY area! After successfully completing the required 520 hours, you may be considered for permanent placement with the client company!Job Requirements As a Part Time Dental Assistant your responsibilities will include Work chairside with Periodontist to assist with examinations and surgeries, and Hygienist as necessary.
Prepare patient examination rooms for procedures Sterilize and organize instruments prior to procedures Assist Periodontist during connective tissue grafts, implants, extractions, and other surgical procedures Write patient notes in Electronic Medical Record (Dentrix) chart and take photos and digital x-rays and upload to patient chart Clean up examination rooms after procedures, wash towels, lab jackets, and patient drapes Order supplies, track lab work, schedule patient appointments, maintain Periodontist calendar, and perform miscellaneous clinical and clerical duties as needed Serious candidates will have the following experience, skills, or education:
High school diploma or its equivalent.
