Summary:
We seek a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Receiver to join our team.
The Warehouse Receiving Manager will oversee all aspects of the receiving department, including receiving incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of deliveries, maintaining inventory records, and coordinating with other departments to ensure timely processing of goods.
Responsibilities:
Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of quantities and items Inspect goods for damage or defects and report any discrepancies Ensure that all received items are correctly labeled, stored, and accounted for Maintain accurate inventory records and reconcile any discrepancies Coordinate with the purchasing department to resolve any issues with incoming shipments Communicate with suppliers and carriers to schedule deliveries and resolve any delivery issues Collaborate with other departments, such as warehouse operations and inventory control, to optimize processes and improve efficiency Perform regular audits of receiving processes to identify areas for improvement Requirements:
Proven experience in warehouse receiving or a similar role Strong knowledge of receiving procedures and best practices Excellent organizational and time management skills Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office applications Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously Attention to detail and accuracy Forklift certification (preferred) Job Type:
