Responsibilities:
Accurately and efficiently enters patient demographic information in the pharmacy operating systemDemonstrates ability to communicate clearly in both written and oral communication.
Accurately assesses program eligibility when processing enrollment requests.
Provides exceptional customer service during all work-related communication.
Ensures proper follow-ups are initiated so that patient therapy is not disrupted.
Displays professional behavior and participates in department quality.
Ensures individualized goals are met.
Maintains business confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Embraces the iCARE and iLEAD Principles through the service provided to external and internal customerMay receive and place telephone calls while maintaining a positive interaction and rapport with caller by handling their questions and concerns with speed, accuracy, and professionalism.
Documents customer requests, inquiries, and complaints in call history database and ensures timely closure of all open issues.
Forwards issues to other departments and follows-up to ensure timely resolution.
Identifies and reports Adverse Events and Product Complaints based on program guideline when needed.
Plans and organizes work assignments, sets priorities, and completes work with minimum supervision.
Computer knowledge required.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements:

years customer service experience requiredProficient with Microsoft OfficeAble to type 35 wpm or greaterComputer skills and a knowledge of relevant software packages.
Critical Requirements:
This position requires registration with the Kentucky Board of Pharmacy.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
Organizational abilities.
Administrative skillsGood communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous healthcare experience desireExcellent interpersonal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsPhysical Requirements:
May sit, stand, stoop, bend and walk intermittently during the day.
May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day.
May be necessary to work extended hours as needed.
Finger dexterity to operate office equipment required.
May need to lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on occasion.
Visual acuity to see and read fine prints.
Specific vision abilities required by this role include close vision, color vision and the ability to adjust focus.
Must be able to hear normal voice sounds.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
