V-Soft Consulting is looking for a Director of Digital Consulting based in Louisville, KY at our headquarters.
Job Title:
Managing Director of Digital Consulting The Managing Director of Digital Consulting must possess a unique blend of leadership skills and be technical savvy with a big futuristic and strategy picture vision, to develop, grow, and maintain a set of digital services that evolve over time (currently these include Service Management (ServiceNow, Atlassian) Enterprise Integration (Mulesoft), Data Engineering, Mobile, Cloud, RPA, and AI areas).
This position will report to the President of V-Soft Consulting and will enjoy the support of a mature organization along with the excitement of building critical new business within V-Soft Consulting.
Overview:
Develop and manage a strategic plan focused on innovation, future growth, and positive ROI.
Assist the President in designing strategy for a profitable of digital division.
Ensure growth strategies related to new logo generation and expansion within existing logos are executed with the help of BDMs/Account Managers and Engagement Managers.
Ensure Customer Satisfaction levels are maintained through setting proper expectations and managing the same.
Ensure proper levels of talent is maintained onshore/offshore/near shore to deliver projects in the pipeline.

Manage leads/opportunities and ensure proper sense of urgency exists among all practices to move deals within the pipeline.
Assist marketing with appropriate knowhow to portray the companys position in the market as thought leaders within practices focused on.
Engage with Gartner to identify key focus areas and go to market strategies for all practice areas.
Manage P&L for the digital division towards established industry financial benchmarks as it relates to profitability and other key financial performance metrics.
Oversee delivery updates and reports.
Identify and oversee growth technology and service opportunities.
Support various practice heads towards overall practice maturity and strategy execution.
Specific tactics associated include but not limited to:
sales enablement, marketing campaigns design.
Coordinate with practice heads for implementation plans.
Review weekly practice resource utilization, strategy artifacts, project reports and ensure delivery quality.
Establish strong partnership with key stakeholders such as Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations in delivering services to our customers.
Lay groundwork along with practice heads to manage partnerships with technology providers such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, MuleSoft, AWS/Microsoft, Blue Prism/UI Path etc.
, Develop and review with the senior leadership operational reports that map actual performance with goals/budget as it relates to the digital practices.
Position Functions:
Innovation Review existing processes and strategies to reduce costs and increase the overall footprint of the digital business, while creating good value and outcomes for clients and internal key stakeholders.
Set up processes and strategies for improving digital efficiency while increasing overall profitability.
Participate in analyzing market and customer requirements to develop and support new value and innovative strategies.
Sales enablement Conduct market and data analysis to position the organization for growth and delivery of strategic digital services for clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to provide case studies that can be utilized by the sales team.
Lead the technical solution and review documentation for RFP responses.
Participate in interfacing and negotiations with customers regarding product / services estimates, schedules, and deliverables.
Delivery/Execution Conduct regular analysis, focusing on identifying the strengths and opportunities for development of the delivery practice.
Develop and define a repeatable process based on best practices and outcomes for clients and V-Soft.
Work closely with the Marketing team to create and execute targeted technology expansion plans and strategies.
Establish new reporting practices and KPI dashboards for internal stakeholders (Annual Revenue per Billable Consultant, Project Overrun %, billable utilization, profit margin, revenue per headcount, turnover rate, etc.
).
Conduct and document post completion project debrief with customers and relevant stakeholders.
Initiate and manage ongoing audits and reviews of completed activities to ensure ongoing quality and efficiency of services provided.
Build on existing practices and identify new opportunities for improvement of the billable utilization rate by cross training and upskilling existing talent.
Creates, prepares, and reviews project/product strategy related to future digital activities and projects.
Alliance and Partnership Establish strong partnerships with product companies (ServiceNow, AWS, MuleSoft, etc.
) focusing on leveraging internal resources and talent to meet customers needs.
Thought Leadership Review and identify new opportunities to examine existing organizational talent, experience, to consistently answer questions and concerns from clients and internal stakeholders.
Stay abreast of the industry trends and familiar with best practices to recommend best strategies and solutions for organization and external customers.
Talent Acquisition and Leadership Provide support for practice area prospects and expand footprint among existing customers.
Oversee approach to training and certifying staff, including ongoing professional development in existing and emerging technologies.
Determines viability of services and handle strategic/logistic/resource issues, there by projecting the cost, time, skill requirements of the work.
Consistently review existing talent pool to ensure availability of qualified resources are in line with current and future customer needs.
Coach and mentor, our practice delivery leads and provide regular feedback through one-on-one and periodic performance appraisals.
Review skills matrix and plan for improving the quality and quantity of resources needed for practice growth as per market needs.
Establish effective communication practices with offshore and nearshore teams.
Enable them to be an integral part of the overall digital team.
Measurement and Improvement Analyzes digital metrics against divisional objectives.
Conducts process reviews and ensures process compliance.
Reports digital activity and performance to leadership.
Reviews and improves resource utilization of digital activities.
Reviews and tracks any deviations from training and certification plans.
Track and accurately report the following metrics that ensure overall success of the digital division:
Annual Revenue per Billable Consultant Annual Revenue per Employee Billable utilization Project overruns Profit margin
Qualifications:
Education & Experience Bachelors degree in computer science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
8 10 years of previous experience with similar operation in a consulting setting.
Skills/Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent analytical skills Excellent project management and time-management skills Strong problem-solving skills Focus on quality and attention to detail.
Extensive experience with digital integration, MuleSoft, and Cloud (ServiceNow experience preferred).
Prior experience working in an overseas delivery model.
Experience working with P&L Prior management experience required.
