The Task Force General Manager is responsible for serving as the acting General Manager at the assigned hotel during vacancies or leave.
When not assigned to a specific property, the Task Force General Manager will provide support to the company on various projects and/or other assignments.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Act in the capacity of a General Manager at the assigned hotel during vacancies or leave Complete all General Manager or Departmental Manager duties at the assigned hotel Managing budgets and financial plans and controlling expenditure Maintaining statistical and financial records Setting and achieving sales and profit targets Recruiting, training, and monitoring staff Planning work schedules for individuals and teams Meeting and greeting customers Dealing with customer complaints and comments Addressing problems and troubleshooting Ensuring events and conferences run smoothly Supervising maintenance, supplies, renovations, and furnishings Dealing with contractors and suppliers Ensuring security is effective Carrying out inspections of property and services Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, and other statutory regulations Act as a storyteller for our brand, our hotel, and it's d cor Work with colleagues to deliver inspirational service Maintains constant communication with Managing Director or other assigned leadership to assure successful continued operation and ongoing state of property Other duties, tasks, and projects as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Hotel General Manager in a full-service hotel Experience managing Food & Beverage operations Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management or Business preferred Lifestyle brand preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Extensive (Up to 100%) travel required Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing Demonstrated ability to lead a team Excellent attention to detail Financial savvy Proficient in Microsoft Office products About Graduate Hotels Graduate Hotels is a hand-crafted collection of hotels that reside in dynamic university-anchored towns across the country.
