We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Payroll Analyst to join our teamThis role is integral to the financial stability and growth of our organizationThe successful candidate will be responsible for managing and streamlining all aspects of our payroll process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant legislationThis position requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of payroll systems and processes
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the day-to-day payroll operations for the organization, ensuring timely and accurate payment to all employees. Perform regular payroll reconciliations and audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Utilize Dayforce software for payroll processing, and ensure proper configuration and enhancement of the system to meet the organization's needs. Conduct regular testing of the payroll system to identify and rectify any issues or discrepancies. Develop and implement strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll processes and systems. Collaborate with other departments, such as HR and Finance, to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes. Prepare and present reports on payroll activities and issues to senior management. Stay abreast of the latest developments in payroll legislation and best practices, and ensure the organization's compliance with these.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a payroll analyst role. Demonstrated experience with payroll reconciliations, Dayforce software, and payroll system testing. Proven experience in payroll configuration, payroll enhancement, and improving efficiency. Strong knowledge of payroll processes and legislation. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. High level of integrity and discretion, with the ability to handle sensitive financial information appropriately. Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
