Our company is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing financial insights and business consulting to drive the company's strategic goals.
This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing financial reports, and making recommendations based on these analyses.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Consumer Product Goods (CPG) and is well-versed in NetSuite, Oracle, COGS, and Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst.
Responsibilities:
1.
Develop, maintain and analyze budgets, preparing periodic reports that compare budgeted costs to actual costs.
2.
Analyze business operations, trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations, to project future revenues and expenses or to provide advice.
3.
Compile and review financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
4.
Conduct strategic financial analysis and planning, risk assessments, and financial forecasts.
5.
Analyze the impact of various corporate projects and transactions.
6.
Collaborate with management on the development and execution of funding strategies.
7.
Provide financial analysis support to various areas of the company.
8.
Prepare detailed annual financial budget and monthly financial forecasts.
9.
Assist with preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly financial analysis schedules of actual vs.
budget variances.
Qualifications:
1.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
2.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, financial modeling, or related experience.
3.
Experience in the Consumer Product Goods (CPG) industry is highly preferred.
4.
Proficiency in NetSuite, Oracle, COGS, and Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst.
5.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
6.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in an understandable manner.
7.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, macros, and functions.
8.
Ability to work independently, manage large, complex projects, and balance multiple tasks.
9.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses.
10.
High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.
