Qualifications:
Working knowledge of a quality management system used to supply product to an automotive marketplace. Experience in manufacturing environment, preferably within automotive industry. Working knowledge of AIAG core tools, e.g. Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Measurement System Analysis (MSA) Must have experience in IATF 16949 or ISO 9001. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). Interpret and understand blueprints. Skilled in the use of measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, drop gauges, Micro Vue, and steel rules. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good organizational skills. Self-motivated, ability to work in a deadline driven environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Essential duties/
Responsibilities:
Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements Collaborates with management and senior staff to draft acceptable quality standards Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation process Facilitates communication among all divisions and management Perform random plant audits/inspections Review quality control documentation, reports and procedures for effectiveness, accuracy and relevance Reports status of quality control metrics to leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies Prepares and leads all locations through IATF audits Must be able to travel up to 25% All other work assigned.
