Contract Administrator - Ensure Seamless Contract Management for Our ClientDo you thrive in a fast-paced environment where meticulous attention to detail meets strong customer focus?Our client, a company dedicated to excellence, is searching for a Contract Administrator to play a vital role in managing the entire contract lifecycle, from initial inquiries to successful project completion.
You'll be the bridge between our client's team and external parties, ensuring smooth communication and efficient execution.
Responsibilities:
Build strong relationships with US Government agencies, prime contractors, and other customers for our client.
Coordinate and prepare competitive bids for our client, including pricing recommendations.
Analyze contracts and ensure alignment with quoted terms for our client.
Maintain compliance with the latest Federal Acquisition Regulations (FARs) and Defense FARs (DFARs) for our client.
Oversee contract execution for our client, including bid letters and signatures.
Manage and resolve contract issues effectively for our client.
Streamline the quoting process for our client by receiving, documenting, and distributing customer requests to relevant departments.
Organize and lead bid kickoff meetings as needed for our client.
Maintain a comprehensive list of ongoing bids and customer interactions for our client.
Collaborate on crafting compelling quote responses by gathering supporting data and drafting initial responses for our client.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding bid requests, contract statuses, and any concerns for our client.
Route incoming customer inquiries to the appropriate departments within our client's organization for action.
Organize and maintain contract files efficiently for our client.
Track all active purchase orders and assign internal tracking numbers for contracts, modifications, and related information for our client.
Proactively monitor government bid opportunities on platforms like Sam.
gov and maintain relevant company registrations for our client.
Partner with Materials and Finance departments within our client's organization to guarantee timely RFQ submissions.
Develop and manage Gantt charts to track program milestones for timely completion (PCA/FAT) for our client.
Collaborate with Materials and Operations within our client's organization to ensure production schedules align with sales projections.
Update sales forecast data based on new RFQs and purchase orders for our client.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in government contracting preferred.
Excellent customer relations skills.
Proficient in computer applications, particularly Windows-based programs.
Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers and prospects.
