Position
Summary:
We seek an individual with high integrity and prior analytical modeling and research experience in the energy, commodity, financial, or related industry. This individual would be championing the process of finding and analyzing pertinent energy commodity information and communicating conclusions to team members, as well as internal and external clients both verbally and in writing. Position
Responsibilities:
o Develop complex econometric time-series models for forecasting global energy prices using available historical supply, demand, and pricing data. Must be able to evaluate models for errors, as well as evaluate output of the models versus the patterns of the market being modeled.
o Perform analysis & research within the energy markets, including timing studies, fundamental analysis and technical analysis.
o Utilize statistical software for in-depth statistical analysis of fundamental data.
o Communicate opinions on past, present, and future market movements both verbally and in writing with internal and external clients, colleagues, and senior management in a clear and concise manner.
o Develop global energy market outlooks that are published with regular frequency.
o Keep current with key political and economic developments as they relate to global energy markets.
o Bachelors degree in a quantitative field (Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, etc.)
o 1-5 years experience with prior analytical modeling and research experience in the energy, commodity, financial, or related industry preferred. Equivalent education can substitute experience.
o Analytical self-starter, quick and eager learner, with strong attention to detail
o Strong problem-solving skills focused on providing solutions
o Ability to communicate complex analysis and ideas in a concise manner
o Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a timely manner
o Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel, Powerpoint, and Publisher
Non-essential skills and

o Energy experience preferred
o Master's degree preferred

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
