Summary:
Our Louisville, Kentucky based client has an urgent need for a Data Architect who will design and build relational databases, develop strategies for data acquisitions, archive recovery, handle the implementation of databases and assist with the cleansing and maintenance of the databases. Must be able to design, develop and manipulate databases, data warehouses and multidimensional databases. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Local and out of state candidates are welcome to apply. Essential Functions:

Understand data from an enterprise perspective and provide strategic and tactical data architecture recommendations.
Responsible for designing and developing application, integration and conversion data architectures.
Ensure that the data architecture is optimized for the most efficient and effective use for the enterprise.
Facilitate analysis and ensure common understanding of operational and analytical business data requirements.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and documenting standards and data architecture.
Work collaboratively with Solutions Architect, Technical Lead, and Project Management to develop technical solutions for business problems.
Responsible for the construction of data models to ensure data integrity and consistency across applications.
Work collaboratively with business and IT business intelligence team members to ensure proper data availability and access for business intelligence needs.
Facilitate data requirements gathering and modeling.
Understand data analytics and business intelligence processes and tools.
Facilitate Use Case to database mapping.
Develop logical data models to support business data requirements.
Coordinate implementation of physical data model with systems DBA team.
Deliver data migration specifications/mapping.
Balance strategic long term data needs with tactical short term priorities.
Regular, predictable attendance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of professional technology experience with a concentration in data.
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills combined with the ability to build relationships with business and technology stakeholders.
Demonstrated knowledge of insurance and current industry trends.
Above average interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to implement change in a complex environment.
Strong knowledge related to metadata management, data modeling, data model rationalization and database products with an emphasis DB2 and SQL Server preferred.
Ability to create various levels of data architecture and models.
Experience with data modeling fundamentals including E/R modeling, constraint design, and attribute definition using appropriate techniques and tools (e.g. relational or dimensional modeling using ER Studio, ERWIN or an equivalent modeling tool).
Strong background with database scripting and programming to guide construction of stored procedures, triggers, etc.
Knowledge of best practices for data architecture constructs such as transactional, operational and analytical data stores.
Extensive experience with data integration, reporting and analysis tools.



Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
