Summary:
The Database Administrator provides systems administration of applications, supports application development projects, data mining, and advanced reporting. The successful candidate provides support to end users and performs data administration functions as necessary. This position works in the Information Systems department and interacts closely with other departments as well as resident groups and vendors.

Administers and maintains Microsoft SQL server software and other database applications.
Provides training, support, and regular communication to all departments and resident users.
Enhances and maintains system functionality via creation of reports, stored procedures, custom views and queries using Microsoft SQL server, InfoMaker, and other system tools.
Ensures database security by establishing data access and permission rights of users using the security tools provided.
Establishes best practice operating standards and procedures.
Performs performance monitoring and tuning, backup/recovery operations and problem determination and resolution.
Determines structural and storage requirements of databases through systems analysis and design to ensure peak efficiency.
Approves, schedules and plans the installation and testing of new database products and improvements thereof, such as new applications and updates in test and production environments.
Researches and implements necessary software upgrades.
Submits help tickets as necessary for departments and resident users.
Manages the weekly cleaning and merge processes.
In depth knowledge and maintenance of system table structures; including populating and editing when necessary.
Develops custom reports for all departments and resident users as needed.
Periodic export/Import for NCOA (National Change of Address) updates.
Manages and develops stored nightly procedures to maintain database health.
Maintains database in relation to Web API.
Provides support for EBMS, a SQL based application by Ungerboek.
Maintains full understanding of existing reports.
Maintains in depth knowledge of extractions and lists and assisting departments in pulling these lists.
Performs other duties as requested by the Network Systems Manager.

Requirements:
Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
MCDBA certification desirable.
Must have experience with SSRS
Must have experience with InfoMaker.
Experience with Crystal Reports helpful.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Good organizational skills, ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
Must have excellent customer service skills for internal and external clients.
Knowledge of applicable privacy practices including Cardholder Information Security Practices known as CISP.
Strong skills in Microsoft SQL including usage, administration, reporting server, monitoring, optimization, architecture, etc.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
