Technology Infrastructure (MGTI) is Marsh & McLennan Companies' internal
technology service provider. MGTI's core mission is to deliver secure, highly
available and cost effective technology services that are aligned with the
business requirements of our operating companies.
As aNetwork
Engineerin our MGTI-Telecommunications department, you will be responsible for
evaluating the current operational state of the data network environment and
identify, design, and implement changes to the infrastructure that enhance and
extend operational efficiency and reliability. This role has a global focus
supporting an environment with more than 400 offices in over 100 countries.
This is a highly
technical position and requires a motivated candidate with a broad technical
knowledge of various networking technologies, including DDI, WAN, LAN, Routing,
Wireless, Load Balancing, WAN Optimization, and VoIP.
Manage all
facets of the corporate DNS, DHCP and IP Management service including
integration with cloud server management teams
Coordinate and
manage the corporate wide DNS, DHCP and IP infrastructure using Infoblox
product suite in BAU and DR scenarios
optimization activities involving identifying opportunities to reduce outage
events, MTTR, and improve overall performance
Participate in
projects as both a technical implement and knowledge resource
Develop work
processes to identify operational practices and standards
5-7 years'
experience working with a large corporate or campus DNS & DHCP environment
as well as proficiency managing a Cisco enterprise network
Proven DNS
& IP Management skills are a must
of experience with the Infoblox DDI product suite and high level of DNS
Strong customer
service skills and focus, CCNA to CCNP networking knowledge, International
experience, and scripting abilities a plus
Must possess
strong skills in mainstream network technologies with the ability to quickly
adapt to new technologies
Ability to work
independently and in large teams is a must
Must be able to
work some nights, weekends, holidays as dictated by project or system outages.
Bachelor degree
in technology and/or vendor certifications for network services desired

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
