Be a strategic leader in cutting edge Healthcare technology!
As a Technology Applications Engineer you will: perform coding, testing, implementation and support tasks in order to develop, maintain, and enhance computer solutions for business needs. You will also act as a group leader, partnering with project managers to transform business requirements into actual designs.
Interpret production trends and abnormalities in order to determine root causes
Answer incoming customer calls, resolving specific questions about specific applications
Create process improvements for various business segments
Participate in Humana's Disaster Recovery exercises

## Qualifications
Role Essentials
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
Comprehensive knowledge of computer science concepts
Debugging and research skills
Experience in the areas of software development and support.
Development experience using Visual Studio C# .net, , XML, HTML, SQL-Server using T-SQL, and WCF Services
Understanding of SDLC, Object Orientation principles and design patterns
Role Desirables
Extensive Knowledge of Web front end Technologies (MVC, SPA, JavaScript frameworks, etc.)
Extensive Knowledge of SQL Server and new 2012/2014 features.
Extensive Knowledge of Web Service Technologies (REST, Asp .Net Web API, WCF, etc. )
Reporting Relationships
You will report to a Technology Manager. This area is under the leadership of the SVP & Chief Operating Officer
