Job Description
Siemens Infrastructure & Cities Sector finds smart solutions to make aging cities more sustainable and competitive, focusing on traffic and transportation systems, more efficient energy supplies, and environmentally-compatible building technologies.
Position Overview:
The Performance Controller will support Rail Automation''s Freight and Products segment. The candidate will be the the main driver for Performance Reviews and Finance Reviews. This position will be the link to Performance Controlling and the Accounting Department in Berlin as well as the other international Siemens Sales Regions.
This position will also need to understand and consolidate reporting of several international Siemens Units and Create stand-alone global segment view.
Key
Responsibilities:
Leads site accounting activities including developing accounting processes consistent with Siemens business, deploying standard processes, ensuring compliance with corporate accounting policies and ensuring appropriate standards of internal control exist and are followed.
Ensures the site is compliant with IFRS, Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and Statutory accounting requirements.
Drives initiatives in Finance/Accounting relating to the following areas in the plant:
General Accounting
Cost Accounting including Standard Cost Variance Analysis
Manufacturing Expense Analysis
Capital Projects Requests Development and Expense Control
Budgeting and Forecasting
Month End Reporting
Process Improvement Savings Calculations and Reporting
Inventory Control and Obsolete Inventory Analysis
Ensures all financial reporting is completed accurately and timely.
Keeps Supply Chain and Manufacturing Controller advised of all potential operational issues.
Support Management when preparing Business Reviews
Required Knowledge/Skills/Education:
Bachelors Degree in Accounting; CPA or MBA a plus
Excellent organizational, analytical and Communication Skills.
Excellent Leadership Skills.
Excellent Understanding of Cost Accounting and General Accounting.
Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
