The General Manager ensures that the venue operates smoothly and in a high state of cleanliness and provides strong leadership and supervision to the staff. He or she manages and trains the staff and assistant managers to ensure they provide exceptional service to customers in a timely, courteous, efficient, and accurate manner and that they follow proper sanitation standards and keep all areas clean and sanitary at all times. The G.M. is responsible and accountable for banking and cash handling procedures according to company policies and guidelines.
The ideal candidate for this position has a college degree (Hospitality, Food Service Management, or a related field) and at least three years of management experience in a hospitality, food service, or customer service position. Fluent English speaking and written communication skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position. Candidate must also be computer literate and able to understand basic accounting software, email, and Office software suites.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
