Be a part of Humana's Sales team - help to improve overall wellness of others by implementing practical and useful benefit solutions. There are two critical attributes for the successful candidate in this role:
1. Strong focus on customer service. Not always saying "yes" but knowing what to say, when to say it, and most importantly how to say. Cultivate and create an unprecedented level of customer service with our internal sales and retention partners.
2. Attention to detail and process. Knowing exactly what is needed, when it is needed, where it should go, and successfully managing this work for the success of our sales and retention partners.
The Sales Advocate Specialists (SAS) are a virtual group reporting centrally, providing support to market sales teams in New Sales, Renewals, and Implementation. The SAS is aligned to Regions and Markets to develop and maintain relationships with the market sales team. They manage the new sales quote process for 2-299 and 300+ opportunities, work with Account Installation (AI) on new sale implementation, and receive and manage the renewal quote process. The SAS coordinates with AI for new sale installation, providing all necessary documents and attending installation related meetings and calls to ensure timely and accurate installation. They review enrollment lists for accuracy and provide to AI. They review and approve all custom materials and review and approve the test bill, when applicable. The SAS will manage changes to the renewal quote process and delivers the quote to the appropriate Sales or Retention team member. The SAS candidates are part of an agile workforce, working from home with a remote front line leader and manager.
Major Responsibilities
New Sales- Offer/Quote/Negotiate/Close
Confirm that any Broker/ GA new requests for quote (RFQ) are aligned to an opportunity in Spectrum
Manage the new sales quote process by validating information included in the RFQ for completeness and accuracy
Review the enrollment file when necessary
Implementation- New Sale
Confirm successful quote of new sale with Broker/GA /sales person
Reviews submission documentation for accuracy and completeness, obtains any missing documents and corrects any inaccuracies
Sends documents to Small Business Sales or AI as appropriate and manages the installation process
Attends all installation related meetings and calls for the implementations they are managing
Receives enrollment documentation and reviews for accuracy and routes to Account Installation/enrollment as appropriate
Receive, review, and ensure accuracy of test bill/invoice to the customer, when applicable
Renewal
Receive renewal notice from Underwriting and reviews with sales / retention team member
Manage changes to the renewal quote, review for required information and accuracy, and obtains accurate information from requestor or Broker /GA
Loads product line information and required documents into Spectrum and routes for rating and quote from Underwriting
Sends final quote to sales / retention team member as appropriate

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
