Robert Half Management Resources has an immediate need for a supply chain analyst in Louisville, KY. Duties for the position include: 1. Establish, recommend and monitor inventory levels at key suppliers location consistent with usage. 2. Advance this process to reduce in-plant inventory by verifying supplier inventory and reducing delivery lead time. 3. Review inventories weekly to identify potential problems and take appropriate action with suppliers. 4. Maintain scorecard for key suppliers measuring on-time and quality performance. 5. Conduct monthly review with key suppliers. 6. Provide these suppliers with a detailed requirements forecast. 7. Review their inventory turns, establish minimum levels by item and recommend adjustments as necessary 8. Resolve all inventory, delivery and performance issues 9. Monitor Inventory items that are not automatically replenished at the suppliers facility to establish a re-make timeline to avoid outages. 10. Use basic statistical models and tools to analyze buying patterns and inventory levels and make recommendations. 11. Analyzes market and delivery conditions to determine present and future material availability and prepares market analysis reports. 12. Develops procedures and systems to insure production facilities have required materials. 13. Initiate and support continuous improvement and elimination of waste and variation in processes using established improvement processes. Generate and document solutions and continuous improvement ideas in established manner.
