Randstad is currently recruiting for an HR Assistant in the Downtown Louisville area. This is for a 3 to 6 month project with that will transition into a permanent opportunity. The position will pay between $15 and $17 hourly, based on experience. The core responsibilities in this position will include recruiting, new hire paperwork and orientations, and internal/external communications such as policy updates and job ad's. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
- Responding to calls and e-mails about basic HR issues such as policy changes and benefits
- Employee file maintenance
- Unemployment hearings and documentation
- Upkeep of FMLA changes, letters documentation and records regarding individual employees
- Assisting in the preparation of upcoming projects such as new payroll process implementation
Working hours: Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm
Requirements and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources preferred but not required
- Three to four years of experience minimum
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Strong ability to multitask in a busy environment

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
