Randstad is recruiting for a Staff Accountant in the East End of Louisville. This is a long term temporary assignment with the serious potential to go permanent. The position will pay between $16 and $20 an hour, based on previous experience. Qualified candidates will be responsible for supporting senior finance executives in areas of financial record maintenance, general ledger maintenance, and financial report production. Other duties will include, but are not limited to:
-Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures and recommending changes
- Responsible for month end journal preparation, review and input into the general ledger system
- Assist with preparation of tax filings
- Responsible for supporting AR, AP, and billing teams when necessary
- Perform monthly bank and cash reconciliations and other general accounting duties as necessary
Working hours: Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm
Requirements and
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 3 years of experience with handling of responsibilities as detailed above.
- Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.
- Corporate experience preferred, but not required
