Brady Corporation, a Milwaukee-based manufacturer of safety products, has chosen Louisville for a brand new plant that will make an environmentally safe line of absorbent materials and spill-contained products.
A facility to house the plant is being constructed at Louisville Industrial Center on National Turnpike. Brady Corporation is building an 11 million, 230,000 square facility which is scheduled to be ready for Brady Corp. by March 1, 2014 and will employ 121 employees.
We are currently recruiting for a Machine Operator in the Southern Louisville area. This is a permanent placement position that will pay $33,840 to $40,580 annually, based on experience. Qualified candidates will be responsible for the set-up and operation of machines, utilize basic tools, and measuring instruments. Analyze and inspect product for defects and imperfections. Additional core duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Operate machine to customer specifications
- Run samples and adjust quality, color settings and mixings
- Perform final pre-run inspection of job and complete job, to meet quality and quantity standards
- Perform all minor preventive maintenance of machines, including inspection and cleaning of dies
- Use critical thinking to resolve quality and machine operation problems
- Dispose of hazardous materials and chemicals according to procedures
-Work from written instructions and established procedures to complete tasks
Working hours: Monday - Friday
Qualifications and requirements include:
- GED or High School diploma
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to read and understand product specifications as they relate to work and finishing
- Ability to identify acceptable levels of quality
- Perform routine maintenance in accordance with established procedures
- Ability to take direction and give guidance as needed

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
