Position
Summary:
This person will report to Manager, Americas Data Analysis. This person is responsible for management of third-party energy contract compliance and supplier performance evaluation within a specified geographic area. This includes entering contract information into the database, processing and reconciling supplier invoices, and database technology enhancements. Additionally, this position would be responsible for development of standardized modeling tools and reports related to energy procurement as well as functional support for the Global Data Operations team. Position
Responsibilities:
o Learn about the business, department and associated processes and tools.
o Process supplier invoice and enter information into appropriate database templates.
o Create and maintain contract information within the database for designated geographical assignment.
o Aggressively resolve discrepancies with suppliers due to incorrect billing.
o Maintain various reporting information related to energy procurement activities.
o Develop standardized analytical resources for the Global Data Operations Team.
o Effectively communicate Schneider Electric expertise to internal and external clients.
o Adhere to Schneider Electric analysis processes.
o Meet Schneider Electric client-specific data needs (hard copy files and database).
o Meet Schneider's work-flow tracking needs.
o Other duties as assigned.
o High commitment to company vision and values
o Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
o Minimum one year outside energy experience preferred, or, in alternative, prior Summit experience as a Regulated Markets Associate, Sourcing Associate, or Client Support Analyst.
o Must demonstrate superior quantitative and analytical skills, including ability to understand energy contracts, independently obtain resolution on billing discrepancies, and communicate pertinent information to the appropriate parties
o Inquisitive - willing to dig in to find answers to problems
o Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities; self-motivated
o Proficient in computer technology and Microsoft Office Products, in particular Excel
o Provide excellent customer service internally and externally
o Work well on teams, within and outside of function

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
