As the Director of Business Development will be responsible for the development and implementation of all marketing and sales functions for the PCA Pharmacy division in the specified region. You will be engaged by growing external new business for Pharmacy Services, maintaining current contracts, attending trade shows and marketing activities. You will also be empowered to develop and oversees the marketing plan, sales goals and marketing budget for your region. Additionally you will be the leader in setting direction for driving growth or the Pharmacy Division.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Developing sales targets and marketing plan to achieve the targets for PCA Pharmacy each year in conjunction with company growth objectives.
Direct responsibility for managing current contracts and working closely with operations to maintain and grow each specific area.
Achievement of sales goals for respective region
Prepare and/or review sales proposals for potential client meetings.
Understand all aspects of Company's business and develop approach on how to best sell our services to outside clients.
Familiar with proforma process for pricing in pharmacy service lines. Gathers accurate data from potential clients to prepare pricing that can be reviewed with operations team for approval.
Maintaining relationships with existing customers to insure their satisfaction with services as needed. Manage contract renewal and rate increases if needed.
Overseeing the completion of all required marketing status reports and ensures quality of data.
Maintaining a comprehensive knowledge of lead tracking system, including data management, trouble shooting.
Delivering sales reports, pipeline and communicating effectively to operations and management team.
Spearheading business development initiatives that are consistent with the Company's overall strategy
Coverage area will be Kentucky and Southern Indiana

Successful candidates will have
Four (4) year degree from and accredited university/college or equivalent experience in the sales/business development area or senior housing industry.
Two (2) years' Experience in the Senior Housing Industry with an emphasis on Business Development or Sales or five (5) years sales experience in the Health Care Arena
Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite of products
Consultative selling skills, proven track record and ability to build strong business partnerships along with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills are a must.
Effective listening, questioning, empathy, resolving conflicts and excellent written and oral communication skills are critical to this role.
Ability to organize, prioritize and track multiple tasks with strong attention to efficiency and detail.
Regular travel is a requirement of this position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
